After being a stay at home mom for a few years, Wendy decided to learn a new hobby: Crochet. She soon discovered she didn’t like making granny square blankets or amigurumi and especially not using every colour in the rainbow in one project. She started to explore other ways to use crochet. She wanted crochet to fit her personal style. It needed a tough edge.
The first item she made was a blanket from moving blanket with a broad crocheted edge in different grey tones. After that came pillows and more blankets. Some left over electrical cord and a fitting with a crocheted cover becomes a beautiful modern, sleek pendant light available in 17 colours. Her daughter’s big wooden beads inspire to make crocheted wall knobs in various sizes and colours. Every item is handmade by Wendy at home with the utmost attention for even the smallest detail. Therefore, for example, the lamps can also be made in any length the customer desires. Handmade with love in Amsterdam. #etaussi
